This song was really fun to put together. First I wanted to come up with an intro on the JV-1080 "FM String" patch played through the Roland Fantom G8 as a midi controller. Next, I tweaked the PG-200 on the JX-3P String patch and continued on the intro with a moving BASS line. Then I dropped the beat with the MX-1 as the main controller of the SBX-1 and Aira gear. I started with the TR-808 for drums and Juno 60 via the MSQ-700 for the BASS line. Then I let the Juno 106 on patch 33 pluck away via the MSQ-100. Next I gave the System 1 arpeggiator a chance to be in the song with a dance like patch. Then I let the SH-101 have a nice smooth solo with some effects. Now things get HEAVY. I start up the Roland TR-707 with a sweet double BASS pattern. I turn up the filter on the Juno 60 to really bite into the mix and let the TB-3 get a chance to do its' thing. Then I grabbed my Ibanez RG8 with Tosin Abasi DiMarzio pickups and began chugging away on a HEAVY riff with a little solo at the end. Afterwards, I went right back to the earlier pattern and gave the final solo to the SH-101.
