about

"Driving" with Roland Juno 106, MSQ-100, TR-707, and Zoom R24. I step recorded the BASS line with the MSQ-100 prior to recording the video at a slower tempo. I also wrote the drum track on the TR-707 before the video as well. Then I sync'd the TR-707 to the MSQ-100 and pushed play. That way, during the replay of the track, I can alter the sounds of the Juno 106. Finally, I played the lead on the Juno 106 as well. I really love the sound of the Juno 106 and TR-707 together. This is my first track using my new Zoom R24. It has the ability to add reverb/chorus and much more to each track. I added some reverb to the snare drum and equalized all the drums to sound the way they are on the recording. Finally, I made a master track with the Zoom R24, but it was clipping. I fixed the clipping sound with Cyberlink Audiodirector. I guess I recorded it too hot. It was my first master recording with the Zoom. Please subscribe, share, like, and leave feedback. I love to hear from all of you. Take care, Sam.
