"Cruise" with Roland Alpha Juno 1, MX-1, MSQ-100, R8M, Fantom G8, Charvel, Zoom R24
This was a fun song to make. First I used a Bass patch on the Roland Alpha Juno 1 and sequenced it with the MSQ-100. I used my Charvel guitar from 1991 with Satriani pickups in the neck to lay down the guitar track. I added the TC Electronics Alter Ego X4 and T2 pedals to create more atmosphere. I plugged my guitar into a Bugera 1990 120 Watt Tube Amp with a Fender Full Stack. I used a Shure 58 microphone to record the speaker. I used the Roland R8M drum module on Stereo Drum #1 patch for all the drums. I used the Roland Fantom G8 as a controller. Next, I switch to my Steve Vai Bridge pickups for the distorted part. I used the Hardwire TL-2 Metal Distortion pedal. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe, share, like, and leave feedback. Take care, Sam.
